About Ryan Bourriaque

Ryan Bourriaque currently serves as the Cameron Parish Administrator for the Cameron Parish Police Jury, where he oversees all functions of parish government. He first began working in Cameron Parish as the Assistant Planner after Hurricane Rita devastated his community. During that time he administered state and federal grants totaling nearly $200 million for the Police Jury. With his experience in Federal Funding, Ryan was later hired by a private consulting firm, Minvielle & Associates of Abbeville to provide support to more than 30 Louisiana municipalities and six parishes by overseeing their grant administration.

“I’m running because I want to bring real results for the families of Vermilion, Cameron, and Calcasieu Parishes on the things that matter most; coastal restoration, drainage and roads, and funding for schools and hospitals.  I’ve fought for sustainable communities in all professional assignments I have held in both the public and private sectors with many victories obtained. I commit to utilizing all contacts and relationships developed over this decade to help bring a level of success to the rest of our region and state.  I know we will get there together.”
